Design Focus Groups and Site Feedback

  • Comment
Are you interested in helping shape the future of Nexus Mods?

We're starting to roll out our new design system as we build new features and modernise the current site layout. A key part of this process will be to hear from you - the modding community - as we test out new designs and features. With this in mind, we're looking for volunteers to take part in a few focus groups that will collect invaluable feedback which is sure to influence how our site looks and functions as we look to the future.

In order to participate, you will need to tell us a little about yourself in this short survey and be a member of our Discord server. Once in the server, you can opt into the focus groups from the "Channels & Roles" section at the top of the channels list or if you're new to the server, you'll also be able to select this role when joining. Users will then be reviewed by our design team and may be invited to join one of the groups and participate in discussions. We are looking for a diverse group of volunteers to join the focus group, including people of all ages, backgrounds, and levels of experience with the website, and modding in general. The chosen users will be carefully selected so that they act as a sample of the overall community - this means that you might not hear anything for a while after applying.

As a member of the focus group, you'll be given access to mock-ups and design concepts for new experiences on the site and will have the opportunity to directly share your thoughts with our design team. Your input will help us create a site that is accessible, functional and (hopefully!) pleasing to use.

If you're not interested in being a part of the focus groups, we'd still love to hear from you. You can post your ideas for new features or vote on suggestions submitted by others on our new Feedback Portal

Thank you for considering joining our focus group and helping to make the website even better for all of the community. We look forward to hearing your ideas and feedback.
