What's Different?
- Every single story mission (including optional/side missions) has been tweaked, or in some cases completely rewritten to be much more difficult.
- Every single hidden package, health, armour, bribe and weapon pickup has been relocated.
- A new wardrobe system has been introduced, with 11 new outfits rewarded throughout the game.
- 4 Brand new "off-road" missions have been added.
- A large number of map additions and tweaks (including brand new interiors) have been implemented.
- 10 new vehicles have been added, some of which are rewards for beating certain missions.
- 20 new Unique Stunt Jumps.
- 20 new rampages.
- Import/Export garages swapped between Portland and Shoreside (with one vehicle completely new).
- Several back-ported VC features such as poppable tyres and breakable windshields.
- Traffic and pedestrian density has been increased, with behaviour tweaked to be less friendly.
- Gangs are now less friendly and become better armed at certain points in the story.
- Radio stations have been largely expanded thanks to the addition of LCS renditions, extra lore friendly/beta tracks as well as Head from GTA 2.
- 2 new radio stations have been added, 'Plastic Nectar' and 'Bang Radio'.
- The map has been littered with extra audio zones, parked cars and particle effects to bring even more life to Liberty.
- Mission specific music and a "failure jingle" have been added.
- Restored beta busker peds along with a couple of extra variations.
- Taxi missions are slightly trickier (being wanted will make the passenger flee, & fleeing passengers try to pull you out of the car).
- You can sprint infinitely and with any weapon from the start of the game.
- Draw distance and 2DFX lights have been greatly increased and island loading has been removed (thanks to Project 2DFX).
