I want to preface the description by saying that I am no pro when it comes to making mods, especially for this game. I didn't make this mod with the intention of publishing it so the final model and textures are only as good as I was happy for them to be. I might make some improvements in the future but I hope you can enjoy using the mod regardless.

How it works:

The mod replaces Kratos with a trials titan from destiny 2. The mod ONLY works when the starter waist armours are equipped (either the exile waist or the death's vow waist) otherwise Kratos will be invisible. However the mod works for ALL chest and wrist armours, all of these are hidden by the mod except for the fur on a few of the starter chest pieces because I thought that actually looked quite cool. Certain gauntlets retain the chains once the blades of chaos are obtained, again I left this as it is because it can look good.

There are two light versions and a dark version (light 1 is a brighter, more orange tinted gold and light 2 is a more dulled, yellow tinted gold).

Additionally there are light (1) and dark versions that also replace Kratos' axe with the Lament exotic sword or a spear (hunter's arcstaff).

How to install:

Download the main file "Dark (default)" and copy all of the contents into your God of War directory (replace any files that it asks to replace). Then open in notepad the boot-options.json file found here "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\GodOfWar\exec". Go to line 51 at the bottom of the file and replace the line

 "patch-texpacks": [],

with the following,

 "patch-texpacks": ["../../patch/pc_le/titan"],

Save that and the mod should be running when you next start the game, if you don't see anything at first try pressing f3, see the tutorial above if anything is unclear.

The additional files do not work without the main file already installed and only one can be used at any one time. To install these files, simply download and copy into the God of War directory just as above (replace any files that it asks to replace). "Light 1" and "Light 2" only replace the texpack, the others replace the texpack and include an additional model swap for the axe.

Additional notes:

For some added immersion, copy the .ini files from Starscar's "Invisible blades" and "Invisible chains" mods into your mods folder and delete the lines 103-105 and 115-117 from my file titan.ini (to avoid clashing). Now your titan should be able throw fireballs and summon fiery blades out of thin air.

Below are some known issues with the 1.3. version of the mod.

Armour/clipping
- The weapons on the back clip slightly
- The helmet clips the collar when Kratos turns his head too far
- Different gauntlets have different chains wrapped around them so some have more clipping than others
- Since the original Kratos model is shirtless not everything fits perfectly, minor stretching on the back and neck.
- With the Lament/arcstaff mod, when charging up the axe with frost the ice effects are visible on top of the sword/spear.

Textures
- The hands don't have any proper texture at all (error during the UV map creation)
- The hands are also not perfectly overlapped with the original model since I didn't bother to align each finger individually. The combination of these two things means that the hands look pretty creepy sometimes (unfortunately this is most obvious in the very first cutscene). However 95% of the time it isn't really noticeable during gameplay.

Fixes
- v1.2. had an issue where the helmet would move when Kratos speaks, this is fixed in the v1.3.
