About this mod

This changes the Vortex theme to look like "Skyrim" in a Night Sky setting, like the Level Up Skills menu.

I finally did it, immersive Vortex.

There's not a whole lot of themes, and my Fallout ones received:

So here's a Skyrim one for Elder Scrolls fans :D

Let me know if anything needs updating or if you have an idea for a theme, and endorse if you like it!

FAQ

To install:
Method 1: Use the Vortex button, and install (From "Downloads" if no popup), restart Vortex.
Method 2: Alternatively manually download and drop the zipped file where it says to in Vortex Extensions tab.

If neither work make sure these are up-to-date:
Vortex - 'Settings > Vortex > Update' should NOT say "No automatic updates".
Browse Extensions list - Press the refresh button on the bottom before installing.

Activate in Vortex by going to:
Settings > Theme > Theme Dropdown > Skyrim Theme

Why am I not seeing _ image?!:
I can't make images over a certain size use Base 64. Wait how did you get to this page while having that issue?

Customize

If you edit the theme some way show it off in the 'User submitted images' to show everyone what's possible :D

Files:
customChanges.scss (enable disable or edit features) and myVariables.scss (swap an image or font)
style.scss contains all misc changes, also needed to be used to set file directory path for images

What you can change:
  • Special Font used for some sections.
  • Custom cursor.
  • Image on the top bar.
  • Images for the hovered/un-hovered side bar.
  • Enable a border around buttons. (Try it and see if you like it)

To change any image:
Replace the image URL with your own custom image using a Base 64, regular image link (online only), or full file path (hard).

How to comment or uncomment:
// <-- This comments a line when at the front of it, you can delete that to uncomment it too.
/* <-- This is for when you want to comment out a whole section (Better then leaving brackets empty) --> */
