This mod fixes two bugs in Awakening's banter:
An optional version is also available which removes the numerous harassing banters Oghren has with Sigrun, including a unique banter that only plays if Oghren is present at Sigrun's recruitment. Additionally, a banter between Oghren and Nathaniel that joked about sexual assault has been altered to no longer mention it. It's now finally possible to bring Oghren and Sigrun to Kal'Hirol for their dwarven commentary without having to put up with Oghren's constant
harassment!
This file will conflict with anything that also modifies gxa_party_banter.dlg -- and, if you're using the version that removes sexual harassment, ltl200_oghren_sigrun_banter.dlg (the file containing the unique banter that only plays if Oghren is present at Sigrun's recruitment).
Installation
Extract the folder "Awakening Banter Fixes" to your override folder at Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age\packages\core\override
Uninstallation
Delete the folder "Awakening Banter Fixes" from your override folder.
- Anders' banter with Velanna about tattoos being attractive would repeat because the developers forgot to flag the topic to only appear once per game; this has been fixed.
- Sigrun would always tell Velanna that she was "the first elf [Sigrun] has ever known", even if the player was an elf and Velanna was not present for Sigrun's recruitment. The banter will now only play if the player is a human or dwarf.
