Eli's Armor Compendium has some incredible stuff in it. But not everyone wants a ton of incredible stuff, and a new shop, and a new clothing crafting mechanic. Sometimes, all you really want is Vault Scientists to wear a Vault Suit under their lab coat.
This mod replaces the model of the standard Vault Scientist outfit, with the Vault Suit and Lab Coat model from Eli's Armor Compendium. It is completely stand alone, and does not require Eli's Armor Compendium. However, if you want more than just a lab coat, you should absolutely go download it instead.
