About this mod
Take the Legendary Erik Thorvaldsson aka Erik the Red as your companion. Also included is his famous weapon Elfberht.

This is my first ever upload to Nexus. Bear with me. If there are any issues please describe them in detail. Erik the Red can be found in the Bleak Falls Barrow. On the ground near him is is sword, Elfberht.
As I learn to mod and create, I will keep him up to date, and try my best to make him work for you. I will make patches if requested, but please be patient, This is new to me. I love doing this so I'll keep it up.
He is 100% Vanilla all the way. Alvor from Riverwood was the base of Erik. He has a Male Brute Voice. He's level 1, so he will level up with you. His AI was left alone, what ever that is for a base follower. He comes with a few leveled items, a shield a sword, and a bow.
I tried my best to keep him historically accurate. Back then when he and his people lived, iron was the main metal of the era. It was only suitable to give him basic iron armor. His weapon at the time was Elfberht, which doing some research I discovered looked very similiar to a Skyrim Iron Sword. Iron being the metal of the era, it was fitting to give him Elfberht as an Iron Sword. I was unable to figure out how to place the new weapon in his inventory, so I placed it on the ground near him. You can use Elfberht yourself, or give it to Erik. I will warn you, Elfberht is a little high in stats for a level one. I wanted this to be an incentive for you. I will figure out how to make him marriageable for players who wish for that.
Two reasons I kept him vanilla, 1 is I really couldn't figure out how to upload the other mods in CK, and 2 I wanted to make sure he was 100% compatible with every other mod out there. I'll discuss with my friends about a possibility to unlocking him for edits. I know I will not allow any edited versions of him to be uploaded without my permission.
Good luck enjoy having him for company. This is the 1st of many more mods to come. My biggest projects I'm working on will bring some items from RuneScape 3 to Skyrim. I'll let those be a mystery until release. I know the anticipation is agonizing. Right? LOL
